News O'Hara and Szot will Join New York Pops for Lerner and Loewe Evening; Song List Announced The New York Pops will present an evening of songs by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe April 16 at Carnegie Hall.

The 8 PM concert will boast the talents of original South Pacific revival co-stars Kelli O’Hara and Tony winner Paulo Szot as well as tenor Michael Slattery, The Clurman Singers and dancers from the New York Theatre Ballet.

Expect songs from My Fair Lady, Camelot, Paint Your Wagon, Gigi and Brigadoon.

Steven Reineke, music director for the Pops, said in a statement, "I’m very excited to close out my inaugural season with The New York Pops by presenting a spectacular evening of music by the great duo Lerner and Loewe. They created some of the most memorable music in Broadway history."

During the concert The New York Pops will salute The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation for "their commitment to music education."  Five music teachers from around the country will receive The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation Award for "dedication to their students and service to the profession."
