The 6 PM concert will mark the only American operatic appearance this year by Terfel, who is an admirer of the late operatic tenor Richard Tucker and a friend of the Tucker family.

In addition to Terfel, Tony winner Szot and three-time Tony nominee O'Hara, the evening will also boast the talents of Susan Graham, Marcello Giordani, Hei-Kyung Hong, Ruxandra Donose, Sondra Radvanovsky, Piotr Beczala, Lawrence Brownlee and Dimitri Pittas.

Maestro Patrick Summers will conduct the program, which will feature members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the New York Choral Society. Concertgoers can expect to hear a mix of tunes from La Bohème, Faust, Manon Lescaut, Nabucco and La forza del destino, as well as a host of Broadway favorites.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Richard Tucker Music Foundation, which has a mission to "support the careers of young American opera singers and bring opera into the community with free concerts throughout the metropolitan region."

Kelli O'Hara received a 2008 Tony nomination for her performance in the Tony-winning Lincoln Center Theater revival of South Pacific. Prior to South Pacific, O'Hara was most recently on Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of The Pajama Game, earning another Tony nomination for her performance as Babe. She was also Tony-nominated for her work as Clara in The Light in the Piazza. O'Hara's other Broadway credits include Jekyll & Hyde, Follies, Sweet Smell of Success and Dracula, the Musical. She was also seen in the Reprise! staging of Sunday in the Park with George. O'Hara's debut solo recording on the Ghostlight Records label is titled "Wonder of the World." Renowned baritone Paulo Szot is currently making his Broadway debut as Emile de Becque in South Pacific. He was honored with the Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Theatre World Award for his work in that classic Richard Rodgers-Oscar Hammerstein II musical. Szot has previously appeared in the New York City Opera productions of L'Elisir d'Amore, Carmen and Le Nozze di Figaro. He made his operatic debut as Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in his native Sao Paolo before going on to sing lead roles with major opera companies internationally.

Tickets for the concert only are priced $25-$500. Tickets for the concert plus a Gala post-concert dinner on the Promenade of Avery Fisher Hall begin at $1,000.
