The 2009 Sundance Lab runs July 7-22 at the Sundance Resort under the stewardship of artistic director Philip Himberg. In addition to O'Hare (Take Me Out, Uncle Vanya, Assassins), Domingo (Passing Strange, The Wiz), Joyce (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and Friedman (Ragtime, Body Awareness), the 2009 company will also feature Oni Brown, Baraka de Soleil, Giancarlo Esposito (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Tracy Robin Gilbert, Meredith Hinckley, Laura Innes ("ER"), Francis Jue (Yellow Face), Ellen Maddow, Sahr Ngaujah (Fela!), Adesola A. Osakalumi (Fela!), Maximillian Osinski, Adriana Sevan (Taking Flight) and Maria Thayer.

The previously announced plays include Odile Gakire Katese's Ngwino Ubeho, directed by Rebecca Taichman; Obie winnier Taylor Mac's The Lily's Revenge, under the direction of David Drake; Denis O'Hare and director Lisa Peterson's An Iliad; Carlos Murillo's Diagram of a Paper Airplane; and David Cale's solo piece Palomino.
