As previously reported by Playbill.com, Jackson will assume the role of Sonny in the Broadway production of Xanadu June 22. Jackson is stepping in for James Carpinello, who suffered an injury during rehearsals June 12. Because of his Broadway role, Jackson will be unable to star in the Busch comedy.
Ojeda has performed on Broadway in On the Town, Blood Brothers and Imaginary Friends and in London in Dolly West's Kitchen.
Bay Street's production, scheduled to run Aug. 14-Sept. 2, also features Charles Busch, Julie Halston, Matt McGrath, Ana Reeder, Barrett Foa, Larry Keith, Matt McGrath, Richard Kind and Kristine Nielsen. Christopher Ashley directs.
