News Oliver Platt and Dan Stevens Will Have Onscreen Bromance in "The Ticket" "The Ticket," a film about a blind man who regains his sight, will feature stage and screen stars Oliver Platt and Dan Stevens, Deadline.com reports.

Written and directed by Ido Fluk, the film will also feature Malin Akerman ("Watchmen," "Trophy Wife") and Kerry Bishé ("Argo," "Grand Piano").

The film follows James (Stevens) a blind man who, after regaining his sight, suffers from an obsession with the superficial, which causes his relationship with his best friend Bob (Platt) to suffer. 

Platt has appeared on Broadway in Shining City and Guys and Dolls. His screen credits include "Fargo," "The Big C" and "The West Wing." "Downton Abbey" star Stevens starred in The Heiress on Broadway and on screen in "The Turn of the Screw" and "The Fifth Estate."

The film's producers include Lawrence Inglee, Oren Moverman, Bill Walton and Matt Malek.
