News Olivier Winner David Bedella to Play Billy Flynn in West End's Chicago David Bedella, who won the 2004 Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for originating the roles of Warm up Man and Satan in Jerry Springer – the Opera and subsequently reprised that performance in the show's New York premiere at Carnegie Hall, will take over the role of Billy Flynn in the West End production of Chicago.

He will begin performances Feb. 28 at the Cambridge Theatre, for a run of ten weeks only, through May 8.

A new booking period has also been announced, with tickets now on sale to Jan. 29, 2012, as the show overtakes Disney's Beauty and the Beast as the  tenth longest-running musical ever.

Bedella's other major roles include playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show in the West End and on the road, and playing KGB agent Alexander Molokov in the Royal Albert Hall concert of Chess. Film credits include Oliver Stone's "Alexander" with Anthony Hopkins and "Batman Begins" with Christian Bale.

Bedella joins Sarah Soetaert as Roxie Hart, Lisa Donmall as Velma Kelly, Victor McGuire as Amos Hart, Jasna Ivir as Mama Morton and Russell Whitehead as Mary Sunshine.
