News Olivo and Jbara to Host Creative Arts Tony Awards Tony Award winners Karen Olivo and Greg Jbara will host the Creative Arts Tony Awards, which will be presented during the first hour of the Tony Awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall on June 13.

The Creative Arts Awards will feature 15 award categories. Although the Tony folk are staying mum on which awards will be presented prior to the CBS telecast, they may include Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, Best Scenic Design of a Play, Best Scenic Design of a Musical, Best Costume Design of a Play, Best Costume Design of a Musical, Best Lighting Design of a Play, Best Lighting Design of a Musical, Best Sound Design of a Play, Best Sound Design of a Musical, Best Direction of a Play, Best Direction of a Musical, Best Choreography, Best Orchestrations, Regional Theatre Tony and the Special Tony Awards.

NY1 will telecast full coverage of the Creative Arts Awards, from 7:10-8 PM ET, to Time Warner Cable's New York City region customers. This portion of the awards ceremony will also be simulcast live to the Clear Channel Spectacolor Screen in Times Square in New York City. For those outside of the New York City area, the first hour of the Tony Awards will be available on www.TonyAwards.com.

The Tony Awards, hosted by Sean Hayes, will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS beginning at 8 PM ET. The 2010 Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Olivo received the 2009 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in West Side Story. Jbara received the 2009 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his role in Billy Elliot: The Musical.
