The evening, hosted by Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis, begins at 6:15 PM with cocktails followed by the reading, directed by Obie Award winner Lisa Peterson, at 7 PM.
The cast of Three Sisters includes Arian Moayed (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo), Jeremy Shamos, Michael Aronov (Lincoln Center's upcoming Blood & Gifts), Thomas Kopache ("West Wing," "Star Trek"), Elisa Bocanegra, Eileen DeSandre, Jose Febus, Kevin Fugaro, Yetta Gottesman, Anya Migdal, Bobby Plasencia, Krystal Rowley, Jerry Stilianessis and Juan Villa.
Hero Theatre, founded in March 2011, strives to provide opportunities for theatre artists to hone their craft by way of the classics and to make classical plays accessible to modern audiences.
Dukakis won an Academy Award for her performance in "Moonstruck" and has been seen on Broadway in Rose, Social Security, Who's Who in Hell, Abraham Cochrane and The Aspern Papers.
