Presented May 10 and 11 at 8 PM, the concerts will include several original songs by Kazee and the Shiny Liars. The concert will offer audiences a first listen to material Kazee plans to capture on his upcoming debut album, which is aiming for an early fall release.

According to 54 Below, "Written in an alt-country vein and reflecting his southern upbringing, Kazee's inspirations are artists such as Damien Jurado, Night Beds, Wilco and others, a few of which Kazee will cover at the show."

Kazee departed the Broadway production of Once last month. Read Playbill.com's recent interview with Kazee here.

Kazee earned the 2012 Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award for Once. He has also appeared on Broadway in Spamalot as Sir Lancelot, as Starbuck opposite Audra McDonald in 110 in the Shade, as well as To Be or Not to Be and Edward Albee's Seascape.
