Tough Titty will feature Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Michelle Hurst, Peter Jay Fernandez, Christine Toy Johnson, Paul Kreppel, Antoinette LaVecchia and Shona Tucker. The show concerns a woman who, when diagnosed with breast cancer, tries to stay married, raise two small sons and endure poisonous treatments.

Lampley's most prominent playwriting credit prior to this was The Dark Kalamazoo, a one-person show starring Lampley, and produced by Off-Broadway's Drama Dept. The story was autobiographical and told of Lampley's first trip overseas at the age of 19—to Africa, no less. Not surprisingly, she doesn't find what she expects to find in "The Motherland."
