News Oprah Winfrey Says Her Dream Is to Play Broadway Emmy Award-winning talk-show host Oprah Winfrey hopes to play Broadway, according to the New York Times.

On the April 22 broadcast of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Winfrey interviewed Chris Rock, who is currently making his Broadway debut in Motherf**ker with the Hat.

Winfrey told Rock, "You know, [Broadway is] the one thing I want to do."

Rock told Winfrey, "You have to do it." "It’s my dream," she reiterated, later adding, "Well, we gotta find a play."

Winfrey was the lead producer on the musical version of The Color Purple.
