News Orfeh, Felciano, Marx, Lopez, Skinner and More Set for Purim Cabaret A host of theatre favorites will take part in a Purim Cabaret March 12 at Manhattan's Jewish Community Center.

A fundraiser for Congregation Beth Simchat Torah, the evening will be hosted by Seth Rudetsky, who will incorporate the Purim Shpiel in his own unique style. "Every section of the story leads to a song sung by a Broadway sasstress!" reads press notes. Those scheduled to take part in the concert include Rent's Aisha deHaas, Sweeney Todd's Manoel Felciano, Trailer Park's Orfeh, Saturday Night Fever's Paige Price, Side Show's Emily Skinner and Tony-winning Avenue Q composers Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez. Show time is 7 PM.

Founded in 1973, Congregation Beth Simchat Torah serves New York's 200,000 gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Jews as well as their families and friends.

The Jewish Community Center is located at 334 Amsterdam Avenue at 76th Street. Tickets, priced at $20, are available by visiting www.jccarts.org.
