After vamping it up nightly with "Willkommen" Robert Sella will mellow out a little to riff on the role he originated: Clifford in Side Man. During Sella's absence while subbing for Alan Cumming as the emcee in Cabaret, movie star Christian Slater (Merlin, filmdom's "Pump Up The Volume") played the role.

With the re-addition of Sella on March 2, the entire original cast is reunited just in time for the production's one-year anniversary. The production debuted at Off-Broadway's CSC on March 3, 1998 before its move to the Roundabout and eventual move to the John Golden Theatre.

Sella (The Water Children, Mourning Becomes Electra, My Fair Lady) reunites with the other original cast members Edie Falco, Kevin Geer, Michael Mastro, Joseph Lyle Taylor, Angelica Torn, and Frank Wood. Falco left the show at the end of the CSC run to work on the HBO series "The Sopranos" but rejoined it on Broadway on Jan. 8.

Side Man, a jazz based drama, by Warren Leight, tells of a man's love of jazz ruining his marriage -- and his wife's sanity. A CD of jazz music from the show was released by RCA Victor Feb. 23.
