Classic Arts Features Park Avenue Chamber Symphony to Kick Off Season With "Sublime Journeys" Oct. 22-23 Music Director David Bernard will lead the orchestra in a rich and varied program including Britten's Les Illumination, Strauss's Death and Transfiguration and Beethoven's Violin Concerto.

Joining the orchestra as soloist in the Beethoven will be David Chan, concertmaster of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Soprano Tamra Paselk will join the orchestra as soloist in the Britten.

The concerts will be held at All Saints Church, 230 East 60th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues) in Manhattan. Admission is $20 General Admission, $10 Seniors and Students.
