Tony Award nominee and Obie winner Pascale Armand (Eclipsed, The Trip to Bountiful, Relevance) stars in the world premiere of Natural Shocks at WP Theater. Lauren Gunderson's darkly comic solo play is directed by May Adrales and kicks off WP's 2018–2019 season.

In Natural Shocks, a woman is trapped in her basement as a tornado approaches. There, she spills over into confession, regret, long-held secrets, and giddy new love. But as the storm approaches, she becomes less and less sure where safety lies and how best to defy the danger that awaits.

Performances began October 28 ahead of a November 8 opening at WP Theater. The play is scheduled to run through November 25.
