One of the great music stars of our time's life has become an Off Broadway musical. Falling Into Pieces: The Patsy Cline Musical will begin previews at Bank Street Theater, 155 Bank Street (between Washington and West Streets) on April 4.

The Peccadillo Theater company will be presenting the new musical by Ellis Nassour, who did the book and lyrics, and George Leonard, who wrote the score, that is based on Nassour's biography, Honky Tonk Angel: The Intimate Story of Patsy Cline .

Falling to Pieces is a book musical based on the life of the legendary performer Patsy Cline, known for becoming the first female country and western singer to "cross over" to popular success. It covers the last seven years of Cline's career and turbulent romantic life and tells the story of her struggle to stardom against the backdrop of the late 50s and early 60s Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry. Along Cline's journey are country greats' Dottie West, Minnie Pearl, Faron Young and Loretta Lynn, as well as singer Brenda Lee.

Performances will be on Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 PM. And Sundays at 3 PM. Tickets are $19 and available through Ticket Central at (212) 279-4200.
