Far Away Places, directed by Scott Wittman and written by Jeffrey Richman, opened the new Manhattan music venue 54 Below in June 2012. Since then, LuPone and her team have expanded the concert.

Rob Fisher conducts the concerts that take place June 1 at 8 PM at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark; and June 2 at 3 PM at the State Theatre in New Brunswick. LuPone will also offer several of her signature tunes. For tickets, visit njsymphony.org.

As previously reported, LuPone will perform the new, fully orchestrated version of Far Away Places Nov. 7 at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY.

The evening features "a little bit of Gypsy in My Soul, which has never been done in New York, and one song from Patti LuPone on Broadway, 'Come to the Supermarket in Old Peking,' and the rest is brand-new," the award-winning actress told Playbill.com last summer. Among the new songs are "Pirate Jenny," "Traveling Light," "Black Market" and the title tune.

LuPone is also among headliners on the 2013 Playbill Broadway On the High Seas Cruise this summer. "Patti LuPone Far Away Places," which was recorded during the two-time Tony winner's engagement at 54 Below last summer, was released Jan. 15 by Broadway Records.
