News Patti LuPone to Play One Night Only at Schimmel Center Broadway legend Patti LuPone will bring her acclaimed concert Far Away Places to the Schimmel Center at Pace University on May 9 as part of their Broadway/Cabaret series.

Far Away Places premiered to critical acclaim at 54 Below. The two-time Tony winner's concert features songs by Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Willie Nelson, Kurt Weill, Edith Piaf, Frederick Hollander and The BeeGees. It is conceived and directed by Scott Wittman with musical arrangements by Joseph Thalken.

LuPone's stage career spans more than 30 years. She prepares to return to the New York stage this summer for Douglas Carter Beane's Shows for Days at Lincoln Center. She is a Tony winner for Evita and Gypsy.
