The Pulitzer Prize-winning play began performances Jan. 18 and rescheduled its opening (from Feb. 7) due to an injury cast member Lily Rabe sustained during rehearsals. The limited engagement will run at the Laura Pels through April 13. Based on the recent Williamstown Theatre Festival mounting (also directed by Turner), Crimes of the Heart features a company that includes WTF stars Patch Darragh (Our Town) as Doc Porter, Jennifer Dundas (Arcadia) as Lenny Magrath, Sarah Paulson ("Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip") as Meg Magrath, Lily Rabe (Heartbreak House) as Babe Botrelle and Chandler Williams (Translations) as Barnette Lloyd with new cast member Jessica Stone (Butley) as Chick Boyle.

Crimes of the Heart is billed as "a sharply funny play about the sometimes frayed edges of sisterly bonds," according to press notes. "The Magrath sisters have trouble with men. Lonely Lenny (Dundas) never married, failed singer/actress Meg (Paulson) lost count, and the youngest, Babe (Rabe) married an abuser — and shot him. Now the sisters reunite at Old Granddaddy's home in Hazelhurst, Mississippi to face life's most absurd tragedies. Alone, each woman might call it quits. Together, they'll have the most hilarious time of their lives."

The design team includes Anna Louizos (sets), David Murin (costumes), Natasha Katz (lights) and John Gromada (sound and original compositions).

For tickets to Crimes of the Heart, at the Laura Pels in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, 111 West 46th Street, call Roundabout Ticket Services at (212) 719-1300 or visit roundabouttheatre.org.
