I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, which reopened at West Hollywood's Coronet Theatre Oct. 7, 1998 after two successful runs at the Laguna Playhouse, will extend again, this time until Mar. 28, 1999. Feb. 28 was the previously-announced closing date.

The musical, celebrating its third year and 1000+ performances Off Broadway, concerns the every day adventures of heterosexual couples looking for love, marriage, dates, and lovers. With music by Jimmy Roberts and a book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, Change features the title song, "A Stud and a Babe," "I Will Be Loved Tonight," "Always A Bridesmaid," "On the Highway of Love," "Shouldn't I Be Less In Love With You" and "I Can Live With That." Varese/Sarabande released an original cast album of the show in August 1996.

Original New York director Joel Bishoff directs Change's four hander cast, which features Valerie Perri, Lance Roberts, Rob Roznowski and Jennifer Simard. The latter two cast-members also appeared in the show Off-Broadway.

Also working with the production are Neil Peter Jampolis (set and lighting design), Dwight Richard Odle (costume design), Scott Harlan (musical direction), and Tami Toon (production stage manager). Barbara Corday, Michael Filerman and Roger Lowenstein are producting the Los Angeles show.
