Game of Thrones Emmy winner Peter Dinklage and Haley Bennett (The Magnificent Seven, The Girl on the Train) will star in a new musical adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac for Goodspeed. The musical, simply titled Cyrano, will run August 3 through September 2 at the Terris Theatre in Connecticut.

As previously announced, the musical hails from Erica Schmidt, Carin Besser, and members of the Grammy-winning indie rock band The National: Aaron and Bryce Dessner and Matt Berninger. Schmidt will also direct.

Dinklage, who has appeared Off-Broadway in A Month in the Country and Things We Want, will take on the title role of the impassioned poet, with Bennett playing his true love, Roxanne.

Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Cyrano will feature choreography by Jeff and Rick Kuperman, set design by Christine Jones and Amy Rubin, costumes by Andrea Lauer, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, and sound design by Jay Hilton. Olivier Manchon will serve as music supervisor.

The Goodspeed's 2018 slate also includes Bartram and Hill's musical You Are Here and the return of A Connecticut Christmas Carol.
