As previously reported, initial ratings for the Dec. 4 broadcast of Peter Pan Live!, NBC's follow-up to last season's ratings smash The Sound of Music Live!, were down by nearly 50 percent.
However, on Twitter, about 5.3 million unduplicated Twitter users saw 475,000 posts about the live staging. There were approximately 147,000 users tweeting the three-hour broadcast; over one million Twitter impressions were made.

NBC has already committed to another live musical event for 2015. Early reports indicate that it will be The Music Man; however, producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan have stated that another musical may take its place.
