News Peters Will Play Las Vegas, Australia, New York, Virginia and More in 2009-2010 Two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters, recently seen in the Lifetime film "Living Proof," will play a multitude of venues around the world in the next year.

The celebrated singing actress is currently scheduled to offer concerts in Washington, New Jersey, Colorado, California, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Nevada, Minnesota and Australia. Additional tour dates are expected. Concertgoers can expect an eclectic array of tunes from Peters' award-winning theatre and recording career.

Current tour dates follow:

May 10 at the Northern Quest Casino in Spokane, WA
May 16 at the Bergen Performing Arts Center NJPAC in Englewood, NJ
June 5-7 at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in Adelaide, Australia
July 25 in Aspen, CO; venue TBA
Aug. 22 at the Jonas Salk Institute in La Jolla, CA
Oct. 3 at the Tilles Center in Brookville, NY
Oct. 30 at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte, NC
Feb. 20, 2010 at the Chrysler Hall in Norfolk, VA
May 1, 2010 at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, NV
May 7-8, 2010 at the Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, MN

Bernadette Peters was last on Broadway in the acclaimed revival of Gypsy, for which she received a 2003 Tony Award nomination for her performance as Rose in the Sam Mendes-directed production. She won her two Tonys for her performances in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Song & Dance and Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun, and she has also starred on Broadway in Mack & Mabel, On the Town, Sunday in the Park with George, The Goodbye Girl and the original production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods. Peters' newest live recording, "Sondheim, Etc., Etc.—Bernadette Peters Live at Carnegie Hall (The Rest of It)," is available on the Angel Records label. Masterworks Broadway has also released a "Legends of Broadway" CD celebrating her theatrical career. Peters' screen credits are numerous.
