The event will begin with a costume parade across UPCA's stage. Anyone wearing a costume is welcome to participate. New York Post chief film critic Lou Lumenick will introduce the film.
The musical soundtrack to the film will be performed by Ben Model, who regularly accompanies silent films at MoMA, The Silent Clowns Film Series and the Library of Congress.
After the film current cast members of the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera, including Laird Mackintosh, Rachel Zatcoff and Kyle Barisich, will perform a mini-concert and participate in a question-and-answer session that is scheduled to be led by New York Post columnist Michael Riedel.
