Broadway's Ambassador Theatre will be the venue for a memorial tribute to late theatrical attorney Harold Orenstein. Orenstein died May 15 at age 84. Among his most famous clients over the years included Frank Loesser, Dale Wasserman, Hank Williams, Mick Jagger, Ray Charles, Errol Garner, Miles Davis, Benny Goodman, Ravi Shankar and G. Schirmer.
Scheduled to perform at the June 23 memorial are such clients and friends as composer Philip Glass, Robert White, Joel Silberman, Arthur Rubin, actress Jo Sullivan Loesser and her daughter, Emily Loesser.
The public is invited to the service, which begins at 3 PM. Gifts can be sent to New York University's School of Law (c/o Allan Shapiro) to help endow the Harold Orenstein Scholarship Fund.
