Salvante has worked as a theatre artist and administrator in New York City for the past 20 years. From 1996 until the present, she served as the director of education for Roundabout Theatre Company, where she transformed the department from a simple discount ticket program into a $1.4 million theatre-in-education initiative annually employing over 40 teaching professionals and serving over 5,000 students in 60 schools.

While at Roundabout, Salvante served on advisory committees with the New York State Council on the Arts, League of Resident Theatres and Producers, Department of Cultural Affairs, and Theatre Communications Group.

She conducted seminars for NYU, Columbia Teachers College, Brooklyn College, ART/NY and the New York City Arts-in-Education Roundtable for which she was a founding member.
