Filmdom's Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio shows off her acting chops and her singing pipes as Aldonza in the new Broadway revival of Man of La Mancha, which opened Dec. 5 at the Martin Beck Theatre.

Man of La Mancha, the classic musical based on Cervantes novel, "Don Quixote," began previews at the Martin Beck Theatre Nov. 23 for an opening Dec. 5. Brian Stokes Mitchell, following in the steps of Richard Kiley and Raul Julia, stars as Don Quixote with Ernie Sabella as his faithful friend Sancho and Mastrantonio as the whore Aldonza turned virginal beauty in Quixote's mind.
