Hired to finish the lyrics of a Broadway-bound musical version of The Merchant of Venice, Kate faces the demands of an unrelenting deadline in addition to important decisions about her marriage and future. “ The new piece features 17 original songs by composer and lyricist Joel Silberman, in collaboration with a book by McBroom herself.
