A snowstorm hit the Northeast Dec. 26-27, covering the New York metropolitan area in up to 20 inches of snow in parts of Manhattan.

Despite the blizzard, no Broadway performances were canceled on either date.

Here is a look at the Monday afternoon aftermath:

A statement from Paul Libin, chairman, The Broadway League and executive vice president, Jujamcyn Theaters, reads: "The weather outside is frightful, but the Broadway shows inside are delightful!

"As of now, the Great White Way is open for business and all Broadway shows will perform today as previously scheduled. Whether you live in New York or are a visitor stranded in our city, it's a wonderful time to see a show! Tickets to hit shows will be available due to cancellations from the cold winter storm.

"Please check individual show information for holiday schedules and curtain times. For information about refunds or exchanges, theatregoers should contact their point of purchase.

Tonight is a great night to sit in a warm Broadway theatre and see one of Broadway's great shows!"

Although it is a Monday, usually a slow day for Broadway, most shows are offering performances because of the holidays. For a list of shows/performance times, click here.
