Given yearly to the best Broadway male and female dancers, Butz was lauded for his work in last season’s hit Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, while D’Amboise took home many kudos for keeping the revival of Sweet Charity afloat when star Christine Applegate went down with an injury during its out-of-town tryout and early previews.
