The party celebrating the two "American Idol" finalists was held Sept. 8 at Palm West. DeGarmo returned to the role of Penny, which she played earlier this year. Maroulis, who toured nationally as Roger in Rent, made his Broadway debut as Sammy in The Wedding Singer. Both former "Idol" contestants began their runs on Sept. 8.
