Barbara Walsh and Raúl Esparza, who are parodied in the show, attended the June 24 performance and met with cast members and Forbidden Broadway creator Gerard Alessandrini after that evening's performance.

Company, and Esparza in particular, are sent up in the current edition of Forbidden Broadway with a parody of "Being Alive" entitled "Being Intense."
