"Dr. Who" star David Tennant and "Nurse Jackie" star Eve Best appear in separate London stagings of Much Ado About Nothing at Wyndham's Theatre and at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, respectively.
Tennant, who was last seen on stage in the title role of RSC's Hamlet, plays Benedick in the Wyndham's Theatre production. Playing opposite Tennant's Benedick is Catherine Tate as Beatrice. Tate is known for her sketch program "The Catherine Tate Show" as well as her run as Donna Noble, in the fourth series of "Dr. Who."
Eve Best, recently seen as Wallis Simpson in the Academy Award-winning film "The Kings Speech," takes to the stage as Beatrice in the Globe's production of the Shakespeare comedy. Starring opposite Best is 39 Steps actor Charles Edwards as Benedick.
