Randy Weiner and Classical Theatre of Harlem artistic director Alfred Preisser (who directs) penned the comedy now playing the Clurman Theater. De Shields (Impressionism, The Full Monty) and Lange ("The Love Boat") lead a cast that also includes Kim Brockington, Jennifer Akabue, Gerron Atkinson, Jabari Brisport, Tyrone Davis, Soneelea Nankani, Gina Marie Rivera, Charletta Rozzell, Lawrence Street, Kisa Willis and Reji Woods.

"Set within a fabulously theatrical Harlem Renaissance-era church," per show notes, Archbishop Supreme Tartuffe "is an original play with music, inspired by Molière's great comic classic and informed by the gloriously unorthodox ministries of Reverend Ike, Daddy Grace, and Rasputin."
