The new outdoor production of the Greek tragedy, "about what happens when a government attempts to outlaw desire," as show notes describe, features a choral score by Philip Glass. The ensemble also features April Armstrong, George Bartenieff, Sullivan Corey, Marisa Echeverría, Tara Hugo, Jennifer Ikeda, Karen Kandel, Jennifer Nikki Kidwell, Alexa Kryzaniwsky, Vella Lovell, Joan MacIntosh, Nana Mensah, Steven Rishard, Ereni Sevasti, Elena Shaddow, Rocco Sisto and Han Tang.
The Max Martin musical features a number of his most beloved songs, including “…Baby One More Time,” “Roar,” “Since U Been Gone,” “It’s My Life,” “I Want It That Way,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling!,” and more.
