The production, which features Richard White (Kopit and Yeston's Phantom) as Beauregard, boasts a cast of 39 and more than 350 costumes designed by 2006 Tony Award winner Gregg Barnes. The company also includes Carol Swarbrick (as Vera Charles), 12-year-old Nick Robinson (young Patrick Dennis), Kat Ramsburg (Agnes Gooch), Ben Gonio (Ito), Seán G. Griffin (Dwight Babcock), Laura Kenny (Mother Burnside), Michael Winters (Mr. Upson), Taryn Darr (Gloria Upson), Matt Owen (older Patrick Dennis), Timothy McCuen Piggee (Lindsay Woolsey) and Karen Skrinde (Sally Cato).

According to press notes, Mame "tells the hilarious story of an eccentric socialite in the Roaring ‘20s who finds her madcap Manhattan lifestyle turned upside down when she is appointed guardian of her orphaned nephew. Auntie Mame takes him on one whirlwind adventure after another." The memorable Jerry Herman score includes such numbers as the title song, "If He Walked Into My Life" and "We Need A Little Christmas."

With its official opening night scheduled for Feb. 14, the musical will run through March 2. For more information visit 5thavenuetheatre.org.
