Entitled A Musical Celebration of Broadway Honoring Roger Berlind, the evening was hosted by David Hyde Pierce and included performances by Brian Stokes Mitchell, Donna Murphy, Carolee Carmello, Gregg Edelman, Mary-Louise Parker, Debra Monk, Scott Ellis, Walter Bobbie, Karen Ziemba, Jason Danieley and James Naughton. B.T. McNicholl directed the performance, with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. Berlind, a Broadway producer for more than three decades, has nearly 70 credits to his name and is currently represented on Broadway by Curtains, Is He Dead? and the upcoming Gypsy.
