News PHOTO CALL: Grammy Winner Lyle Lovett Offers Surprise Concert at The Exonerated Grammy Award winner Lyle Lovett, who appeared as a part of the rotating cast in the 10th anniversary production of the award-winning play The Exonerated presented by the Culture Project, held an impromptu concert following a recent performance to help raise funds for exonerees.

The piece is directed by Bob Balaban and features a non-rotating cast of six including Jim Bracchitta, Amelia Campbell, Bruce Kronenberg, Curtis McClarin, April Yvette Thompson and JD Williams. They are joined by a rotating cast that features Stockard Channing, Brian Dennehy, Delroy Lindo, Lyle Lovett, Chris Sarandon, Brooke Shields, Michael McKean, Steve Earle, John Forte and K'naan. The Exonerated premiered at Culture Project in October 2002 when it received critical acclaim and ran for over 600 performances.

Show times are Tuesday-Thursday at 8 PM, Friday at 7 PM, Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM and 7 PM.

Tickets are priced at $75, with student tickets at $30, and available online at cultureproject.org or via phone by calling OvationTix at (866) 811-4111. Culture Project is located at 45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street.
