News PHOTO CALL: I Never Sang for My Father Opens Off-Broadway
Robert Anderson's I Never Sang for My Father opened at Off-Broadway's Clurman Theater April 4 following previews from March 23.

Anderson's play, according to Keen Company, "explores one son's struggle to balance his own happiness with the needs of his aging parents, and his yearning for a closer relationship with the father he cannot change. Gene Garrsion is a grown man with a successful career, but when his parents arrive for a visit, he finds himself in that awkward position of feeling like a child again. When tragedy strikes, Gene is forced to examine his responsibility to himself and his family in new ways." Jonathan Silverstein directs a cast featuring Keir Dullea ("2001, A Space Odyssey," Butterflies Are Free) as Tom Garrison, Marsha Mason (Impressionism, Steel Magnolias, "The Goodbye Girl") as his wife Margaret and Matt Servitto ("The Sopranos") as their son Gene. Rose Courtney, Melissa Miller and Hal Robinson complete the company.
