John Simpkins directs the production that plays through May 9. Iconis penned book, music and lyrics for Bloodsong. The cast features Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Hairspray, Jerry Springer), MK Lawson (42nd Street), Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!, Coram Boy), Jeremy Morse, Lance Rubin (Things to Ruin) and Jason 'SweetTooth' Williams.
"In a blood and whiskey-soaked world of shoot 'em ups, stolen brides and kazoo-wielding villains, a rogue musician with a killer guitar is out to set things right," as press notes state.

Iconis' Rock Musical Bloodsong of Love Plays Ars Nova
The production will include Bernstein’s incidental music for Lillian Hellman’s adaptation of The Lark, and Menotti’s The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and The Manticore.
Based on the novel and film by Frank Cottrell Boyce, the new musical will reunite Guettel with Tony-winning Light in the Piazza director Bartlett Sher.
