News PHOTO CALL: John Gallagher, Jr. Goes Solo at Ars Nova Tony Award-winning American Idiot cast member John Gallagher, Jr. performed a concert of his original music July 18 at Ars Nova.

The 8 PM concert served as a benefit for Ars Nova's summer concert series, the 54/10 Music Marathon, which runs through July 24 and promotes the music of up-and-coming bands.

Fellow American Idiot cast members Brian Charles Johnson and Chase Peacock, who comprise the band Fran Sancisco, opened for Gallagher while Theo Stockman followed the concert spinning as DJ Theocracy.
