Golden Globe nominee Paulson ("Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip") and Tony Award winner Lavin (Broadway Bound, "Alice") will star as Lisa and Ruth, respectively. MTC artistic director Lynne Meadow directs the Margulies work that had its New York City premiere with MTC Off-Broadway in 1997.
According to MTC, the play centers on "the tale of an aging writer and her young protégé. As their relationship evolves and the line between fact and fiction blurs, their fascinating story comes to a dramatic conclusion."
