News PHOTO CALL: Little Dog Laughed, with White and Galecki, Opens in L.A. Douglas Carter Beane's Tony Award-nominated comedy The Little Dog Laughed officially opened at Los Angeles' Kirk Douglas Theatre Nov. 23.

Again staged by director Scott Ellis, this Center Theatre Group production stars Julie White and Johnny Galecki, both of whom created their roles in the Off-Broadway world premiere and reprised them on Broadway. Also featured in the L.A. run are Brian Henderson (who was the male understudy on Broadway) and Zoe Lister-Jones (who created the girlfriend role of Ellen in the play's premiere at Second Stage; Ari Graynor played the role on Broadway).

Tickets for The Little Dog Laughed are available by calling (213) 628-2772, or visiting www.CenterTheatreGroup.org or the Center Theatre Group box office at the Ahmanson Theatre or two hours prior to performances at the Kirk Douglas Theatre box office.

The Kirk Douglas Theatre is located at 9820 Washington Blvd. in Culver City, CA.
