The theatre, soon to be demolished, was feted July 2 by past performers, playwrights and directors, including Tate Donovan and Dion Graham, two of Lobby Hero's stars. The former home of Playwrights Horizons on West 42nd Street is set for demolition this summer, in prepartation for the birth of a new Playwrights Horizons Mainstage and Studio Theaters, rehearsal spaces and administrative offices some 15 months later on the same site.
