Connick, Jr. will make his Broadway acting debut (his musical Thou Shalt Not played in 2001-02 season at the Plymouth) as the good-looking new foreman of a pajama factory who falls hard for the head of the worker’s union on the eve of a strike. The original production, co-directed by George Abbott and Jerome Robbins and choreographed by Bob Fosse, opened in 1954.
