Chris O'Donnell played the young man who meets Lansbury on the stage of a soon-to-be demolished theatre.
Short Talks on the Universe was a two-night only evening of world premiere short plays written and performed by some of theatre's best. Included in the evenings, directed by Daniel Sullivan (Proof): Angela Lansbury and Chris O'Donnell in Terence McNally's theatrical ode Ghost Light, Boyd Gaines in Jules Feiffer's E-Mail, Matthew Broderick and Tony Roberts as the Devil and a hell-bound producer in Jon Robin Baitz's Show People, Bette Midler in Nora Ephron's female rant I Hate My Purse and Christine Baranski and Kevin Kline as a couple with some hilarious secrets in Steve Martin's 3 A.M. The Nov. 17 and 18 events at the Eugene O'Neill benefitted Friends In Deed and the not-for-profit Bay Street Theatre of Sag Harbor, NY.
