News PHOTO CALL: Meet the Cast of Broadway's The Snow Geese, Starring Mary-Louise Parker, Victoria Clark and Danny Burstein Four-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein, Tony Award winner Victoria Clark, Evan Jonigkeit and Christopher Innvar will join Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Mary-Louise Parker in the Manhattan Theatre Club-MCC Theater world premiere of The Snow Geese. The cast greeted the press with a Sept. 10 photo op.

Preview performances begin Oct. 1, prior to an official opening Oct. 24. The Snow Geese will continue performances through Dec. 15.

As previously reported, the world premiere of Sharr White's play will be directed by Tony winner Daniel Sullivan (The Columnist, Times Stands StillRabbit Hole, Proof). 

The cast will also feature Brian Cross and Jessica Love, both making their Broadway debuts.

"With World War I raging abroad, newly widowed Elizabeth Gaesling (Parker) gathers her family for their annual shooting party to mark the opening of hunting season in rural, upstate New York," press notes state. "But Elizabeth is forced to confront a new reality as her carefree eldest son (Jonigkeit) comes to terms with his impending deployment overseas and her younger son (Cross) discovers that the father they all revered left them deeply in debt. Together, the family must let go of the life they’ve always known." Snow Geese marks the second of White's plays produced by the Manhattan Theatre Club; in 2013 his play The Other Place was produced on Broadway, starring Laurie Metcalf and Zoe Perry

White's playwriting credits also include AnnapurnaSunlight and Six Years

Parker's stage credits include Prelude to a Kiss, Proof, Reckless, How I Learned to Drive, Dead Man's Cell Phone and Hedda Gabler. Her film work includes "Saved!," "Romance & Cigarettes," "Fried Green Tomatoes," "Naked In New York," "The Client," "Bullets Over Broadway," "Red Dragon" and "Howl." Her TV work includes "Weeds," "The West Wing" and "Angels in America."

Burstein's stage work inclues Golden Boy, Follies, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, South Pacific, The Drowsy Chaperone, Talley's Folly, Mrs. Farnsworth and Weird Romance. His film and TV credits include "Boardwalk Empire," "Nor'easter," "Construction," "Louie," "Transamerica," "Absolutely Fabulous," "Ed," all the "Law & Order" series, "Hope & Faith" and "Deception."

Clark's stage work includes The Light in the Piazza, Sister Act, Cinderella, Titanic, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Urinetown, Cabaret and Guys and Dolls. She has also appeared in the Encores! production of Follies, Juno and Bye Bye Birdie. Her film work includes "Harvest," "The Happening," "Tickling Leo," "Main Street" and "Cradle Will Rock."

Jonigkeit has performed in Harrison TX, Really, Really and High. Innvar's stage credits include The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, The People In The Picture, 110 In The Shade, The Threepenny Opera, Les Misérables and Victor/Victoria.

The creative team for The Snow Geese includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Jane Greenwood (costume design), Japhy Weideman (lighting design), Dan Moses Schreier (original music and sound design), Rocco DiSanti (projection design), Tom Watson (hair and wig design), Rick Sordelet (fight director) and Mimi Lieber (dances).
