Barnes, who became affectionately known as “the Revue Master of Hollywood," has worked with Barbra Streisand, Lucille Ball, Bette Davis and Angela Lansbury. He wrote for "Laugh-In," "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour," "Cher" and "The Carol Burnett Show."
The evening began with a pre-show cocktail reception, followed by the performance and a post-show dessert reception with the artists.
The Pantages Theater is located at 6233 Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA.
The production will include Bernstein’s incidental music for Lillian Hellman’s adaptation of The Lark, and Menotti’s The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and The Manticore.
Based on the novel and film by Frank Cottrell Boyce, the new musical will reunite Guettel with Tony-winning Light in the Piazza director Bartlett Sher.
