The stage manager rarely gets much acknowledgement on stage — well, anywhere except in Our Town. And in the Broadway revival of Our Town, that opened on Dec. 4 at the Booth Theatre, the Stage Manager gets an even bigger nod — he's Paul Newman, returning to the Broadway stage after a 38-year break, during which time he solidified his status a Hollywood legend in such films as "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "The Verdict," "Absence of Malice" and "The Color of Money."

Newman headlines the first Broadway revival of Thornton Wilder's American classic, Our Town, in 14 years. The production, directed by James Naughton, continues its limited run through Jan. 26 at the Booth Theatre.
