News PHOTO CALL: Parlour Song Opens at the Atlantic Following a two-week preview period, Jez Butterworth's Parlour Song opened at the Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater on March 5.

Chris Bauer, Jonathan Cake and Emily Mortimer star in the world-premiere production of the British playwright's marital drama. Atlantic artistic director Neil Pepe directs.

According to Atlantic press notes, "Jez Butterworth takes on domestic paranoia in his inimitably sly and incisive style in Parlour Song, which explores what happens when two ordinary people discover they hate who they have become. Butterworth reveals a world where all is not what it seems, when a demolitions expert suspects his wife is stealing from him."

Originally scheduled to end its limited run March 29, the show recently announced a one-week extension and will now close April 6.

Atlantic Theater Company at the Linda Gross Theater is located at 336 West 20th Street (between Eighth and Ninth Avenues). More information may be found at www.atlantictheater.org.
